Por su parte, el Secretario General de PSOE local, V\u00edctor Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez, puso el acento en el que hecho de que \u201clos Premios Rafael Mart\u00ednez L\u00f3pez son, nada m\u00e1s y nada menos, que el reconocimiento que unos vecinos m\u00e1s de Torrelodones entregan a otros vecinos\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este a\u00f1o, la distinci\u00f3n a la Trayectoria Profesional ha reca\u00eddo en el cient\u00edfico Mariano Esteban, por su larga y fecunda trayectoria en el mundo de la investigaci\u00f3n y de la ciencia. El galard\u00f3n lo entreg\u00f3 Jos\u00e9 Manuel Orozco, quien destac\u00f3 de Esteban \u201csu larga y fecuenca trayectoria profesional que siempre ha estado ligada al Centro Superior de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas (CSIC), donde es jefe del Grupo de Poxvirus y Vacunas. Hace escasas semanas, el CSIC ha puesto a disposici\u00f3n de los pa\u00edses en v\u00edas de desarrollo su prototipo de vacuna Covid-19 basada en el virus vaccinia MVA como vector y que ha sido desarrollada por investigadores capitaneados por nuestro vecino\u201d. A la hora de recoger el galard\u00f3n, Mariano Esteban, tras agradecer el premio quiso se\u00f1alar que \u201cla ciencia es fundamental a la hora de asegurar el progreso de la humanidad, aunque muchas veces no tenga el reconocimiento que merece. Este premio me da energ\u00eda y fortaleza para seguir trabajando y avanzando\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Premio Rafael Mart\u00ednez L\u00f3pez a la Trayectoria Asociativa ha sido otorgado al Club La Vida Sobre Ruedas y fue entregado por Rodrigo Bernal, quien destac\u00f3 que \u201cs\u00e9 que un club deportivo peque\u00f1o como el vuestro lo pas\u00f3 especialmente mal durante la pandemia, pero fuisteis capaces de caeros y volveros al levantar\u201d. La presidenta de La Vida Sobre Ruedas, Oalia G\u00f3mez, dio las gracias por \u201cun premio que nos viene en el mejor momento que nos pod\u00eda venir. No puedo pasar por alto que ser mujer y ser deportista de un deporte minoritario como el patinaje supone un doble esfuerzo, a pesar de los avances que el deporte femenino ha experimentado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, el Premio Rafael Mart\u00ednez L\u00f3pez a la Trayectoria Personal fue otorgado al empresario hostelero Valent\u00edn San Mart\u00edn y se lo entreg\u00f3 Elena Repullo, Secretaria de Organizaci\u00f3n del PSOE: \u201cDurante estos a\u00f1os muchas vecinas y vecinos de Torrelodones hemos tenido en tu establecimiento una segunda casa. Muchas personas llamaban a tu bar \u2018el Valen\u2019, y as\u00ed quedar\u00e1 en nuestra memoria. Como quedar\u00e1 tu recuerdo de ser un gran trabajador que forma parte de la memoria de varias generaciones de vecinos y visitantes de Torrelodones que han disfrutado durante casi 30 a\u00f1os de tu simpat\u00eda y tu humanidad\u201d. Valent\u00edn San Mart\u00edn quiso agradecer el premio dedic\u00e1ndoselo \u201clo primero de todo a mi mujer, Magdalena, sin la que nada hubiera sido posible. Igual que a mis hijos, que han sabido lo que significa tener un padre hostelero. Y tambi\u00e9n a todos mis clientes que ya no son clientes, son amigos\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para acabar el acto, el Secretario General del PSOE local quiso resaltar que desde que nacieron los Premios Rafael Mart\u00ednez L\u00f3pez, \u201cnuestro objetivo ha sido rendir homenaje a las personas e instituciones que trabajan por construir un Torrelodones m\u00e1s justo, m\u00e1s humano, m\u00e1s digno. Un a\u00f1o m\u00e1s, y con \u00e9ste ya son 16, tenemos el orgullo de compartir con los premiados no solo su extraordinaria trayectoria, sino tambi\u00e9n todo lo que ella simboliza: el valor del conocimiento, el altruismo, la superaci\u00f3n personal, la voluntad y la determinaci\u00f3n de mejorar la vida de sus vecinos y vecinas\u201d, finaliz\u00f3 V\u00edctor
